Screening Criteria
What Is Required?
Apartments are not held, reserved or secured until a rental agreement or reservation deposit has been signed and payment has been made. We process applications very quickly and apartments rent fast.
We may charge a refundable security deposit according to your credit score, background, and rental history.
Renters Insurance is Required before move-in.
*Minimum requirement: 100,000 liability coverage with PDX4Rent as a named Party.
We may also require a Co-signer* as described below.

These are subject to adjustment based on complete credit history, background check, and rental history. If an applicant has no credit score due to no activity, we will require a security deposit of 1 month’s rent and/or a qualified co-signer*.
Cosigner Requirements
- Monthly income must be equal to 3 times stated rent, and must be from a verifiable, legal source.
- No adverse rental history
- Credit score of 700+
